Her usual role simply requires her to be kidnapped by the evil Bowser and then allow Mario to chase after the both of them. Like Mario, she is one of the most recognizable characters of the game and even has made cameo appearances in other games, much like Mario and later on also Yoshi.

Luigi is the sidekick and brother to Mario. Wario is another Mario adversary but did not appear until 1992 when he was introduced in "Super Mario 2: 6 Golden Coins" to Game Boy aficionados. A play on this imagery is found in the 2002 Nintendo Game Cube release of "Super Mario Sunshine" in which a graffiti spreading anti hero named Shadow Mario leaves his telltale signature all over Isle Delfino. Because of the outward likeness to Mario, the latter is charged with undoing the graffiti that now mars the buildings.

By mid-October 2006, Microsoft had announced the end of support for Windows XP Service Pack 1. Over the last few years, Microsoft has taken steps to abandon support for Windows9x, ME, and NT 3.x. Some may balk at Microsoft's decisions to constrain support in this way as it prevents Microsoft's web-based update service from downloading new patches and bug fixes, but this is great news for the small business and here's why.

1. Regular Patching Discipline. Small businesses are often incapable of independently developing a strong patch regimen for their microcomputers. When overlooked, weak patch management extends vulnerability. Through forcing users to upgrade to Service Pack 2, the small business is forced to adopt more stringent update strategies.

2. Stronger Security with Limited Backwards Compatibility. Finally, after twenty-five years, Microsoft is realizing that they cant support everything forever; they cannot be everything to everybody. It is too costly to promise full backwards compatibility on all products, and, too risky to support those who still desire to run legacy, antiquated applications. Limiting support is great news for the small business because it will make the Windows platform more secure and less vulnerable to the design weaknesses.

3. Ubiquity. The user experience, the look and feel of a computer's user interface, should be consistent, repeatable, and intuitive - at least, this is what we teach in programming courses. Maintaining support on older operating systems and applications that used antiquated metaphors for navigation, file access, or application use drives up complexity and down ROI on the desktop investment. Having a consistent, modern, ubiquitous experience is important to the small business so that less time is consumed remembering how an older piece of software worked.

4. Constrained Long-term Support/Product Cost. If Microsoft is able to dedicate more time and resources to supporting modern operating systems this (feasibly) could translate to lower production and licensing costs. This means more capability, more security, and more functionality at capped cost levels for the small business consumer.

5. Lower TCO via Purchasing and Support Standardization. Finally, the small business can standardize its microcomputer assets and lower Total Cost of Ownership by eliminating support variability between operating systems. Instead of having to manually address patching and fixes in Windows 9x/ME/2000, small business can leverage XP's automation to contain their support dollars.

Arguably, to some, Microsoft's aggressive moves to limit legacy support may represent the monolithic software giant against flexing its muscle to limit consumer choice, but I'd call that a Red Herring: the cries of anti-competitive behavior are meant to illustrate a larger principle of democratization sweeping computing. A valuable idea in the broader discussion but irrelevant to the small business: the goal is to contain technology expenses not increase expenses through allowing more complexity and variability. Indeed, I applaud Microsofts recent actions - the small business benefits substantially when Microsoft takes dramatic steps to limit exposure and risk for their customers.

The world dungeons that are explained in World of Warcraft dungeon guide and that are ready for exploring are: Deadmines which was the greatest gold production center in the human lands. Legend has it that the ancient beast, Aku'mai, has taken up residence within the temple's ruins.

With the rise of the undead Scourge during the Third War, the peaceful Monastery was converted into a stronghold of the fanatical Scarlet Crusade. Currently in our World Technology has developed in such a way that we are over running many regions of our planet, with both environmental pollution and population infestation. Indeed population density has a lot to do with accountability and we have over populated said planet.

What would happen if the human race would reset, kind of like in the Movie "Matrix", would technology develop differently? Would the human race even come to exist? Chances are both the species and the technology would be much different, that makes sense right? Well at least that is what Chris recently asked of the Online Think Tank.

Resetting of humanity is most likely what will happen if a Comet hits the Earth, we go into an Ice Age or some virus mutates faster than humans can evolve to stop it or create vaccines. From looking at the buried Pyramids in many places, well something like that may have happened and the Earth merely recycles. Thus the "putting all our eggs in one basket theory" is of consideration when planning off-world planet colonies.

Now the question comes up, another excellent topic by Chris; How do we know what to look for when we search for extraterrestrial life. If that life grew based on conditions of other worlds, then it would be much different, if it colonized other planets, it may have survived thru periods of total cataclysmic chaos or a "planet reset" wiping out most of its populations, only to grow again with everything changed.

Who is to say that those species, which have survived did just that previously in this dimension? The search for extraterrestrial life is a tough one if those who search are caught up in preconceived notions of what that life may look like. Hawking, Sagan, Drake, Einstein and so many others agree.

In a reset of sorts that Chris describes, surely the technology would develop differently, as the branches of technological and scientific discovery would be different. Who is to say that this has not happened over and over again elsewhere or in our past; "Isaac Asimov - Foundation Series" type scenarios. It makes perfect sense.

Well it appears that Chris, agrees very much with other scientists out there on the subject of searching for extraterrestrial life. The question perhaps is where do you stand on this topic? Are you able to think on this objectively or perhaps do you have a problem with your current religious belief system that disallows such thought? What say you?

Thanks to the ingenuity of Louisiana Democrat William Jefferson, several innovations have been introduced to keep your money safe. Jefferson expanded the idea of cold, hard cash, and took it one step further by freezing it, thereby causing his own cash to become even colder and harder.

My company will be selling plastic bags, specially formulated to freeze cash safely and prevent freezer-burn. These bags, however, will be opaque. You'll be able to label them as "turkey," "beef," or any other food you can imagine. A casual glance inside your freezer will only reveal dark colored bags, and not the fortune you've acquired from bribery.

After you've labeled your "bags," be sure to write down a legend. For example: turkey = $1000 in twenties, beef = $10,000 in hundreds, and so forth. Tape the legend in a secure place, another major appliance perhaps. The top of your microwave oven is one option. Another secret location to hide your treasure map could be inside your dishwasher. Perhaps you could even buy a second freezer and hide it inside, along with your actual frozen meats and vegetables.

Once you have your money and treasure map stored safely, go to your bank and tell them you'd like to make a deposit. There are many different ways to play a thrilling game of Chess. While a traditional game on a normal board can provide you with a great thrill and a chance to exercise your brain, there are alternative approaches to a lively game of Chess. Many different people have invented various approaches to the game of Chess, some of which rely on different boards, some on different pieces. All of these games are provided, however, to give a different perspective on Chess, allowing you to think more outside of the box, approaching the problems from a new angle.

One such famous example would come in the form of Glinksi's Hexagonal Chess. This board, which was first used in 1936, is a bit larger than a traditional board, having 11 ranks and files. The spaces are three colors, with a light, a dark, and a gray theme. The pieces move a little differently than in a traditional game, although they do keep to the same basic theme. This version of the game forces you to think a little more creatively in the adoption of strategy and tactics, as it is easier to miss the possibility of seeing an oncoming attack.

Some forms of Chess alter the beginning sequences of the game. Played on a traditional board, they switch the game up by changing the format. Chess960 will randomize the placement of the major pieces, destroying the initial setup of the board. The finished ranks will mirror each other, however, so that all Knights will be opposite Knights, as will Kings and Queens and such. Transcendental Chess works on the same premise, except that each side will be randomly placed and will not mirror each other. Upside Down Chess will swap the placement of the Black and the White Pawns, making each player's Pawn be only one space away from being promoted.

Other alternate Chess games remove pieces from the board. Dunsany's Chess has one side be completely normal while the other side works with only 32 Pawns. In the Pawns Game, White does not have a Queen, but 8 additional Pawns instead. Peasant's Revolt vastly changes the board, with White having one King and 8 Pawns, representing the peasants. Black will have its King, one Pawn, and either 3 or 4 Knights, depending on the version being played.

Some version of the game will allow you to work with the board in additional ways. Cylinder Chess plays the game as if the edges of the board were connected, allowing you to move one piece off of the edge of the board and onto the correlating space on the other side. Grid Chess takes the board and lays a grid of lines upon it. For any move to be counted, the piece must move along the grid in some way. Another popular alternate version of the game is Alice Chess, which is played on two separate boards. Based on Alice in Wonderland, whenever you make a move, the piece goes to the correlating spot on the other board. It will move back again to the first board when you move that spot again. The same rules as standard Chess apply, but offer a new complexity in the orchestration of tactics. This, among other games, offer a whole new possibility in the world of brilliant Chess games.
